A come Adige
... due passi verso la foce
Dice Calvino: "... Se si vuole descrivere un luogo, descriverlo completamente, non come un' apparenza momentanea, ma come una porzione di spazio che ha una forma, un senso e un perché, bisogna rappresentarlo attraversato dalla dimensione del tempo, bisogna rappresentare tutto ciò che in questo si muove, d'un moto rapidissimo o con inesorabile lentezza. Tutti gli elementi che questo spazio contiene o ha contenuto nelle sue relazioni passate, presenti e future."
"A come Adige... due passi verso la foce" fa parte di un più ampio progetto intitolato "A come Adige" comprendente i lavori di 15 fotografi di Verona. Il progetto vuole raccontare il corso del fiume Adige dalle sorgenti alla foce evidenziando con le immagini la molteplicità delle storie, delle emozioni, dei luoghi e delle genti che il fiume attraversa nei suoi 414 km di lunghezza.
Calvino says: “…If you want to describe a place, and to describe it totally and not as a momentary appearance, but as portion of the space that has a shape, a sense and a reason, you have to represent it as it is crossed by the time, and you have to represent everything that moves inside it, with a very fast motion or with inexorable slowness. All the elements that this space contains or has contained in its past, present and future relations”.
"A as Adige… a walk to the river mouth" is part of a bigger project called "A as Adige”, that includes the works from 15 photographers from Verona. The project wants to narrate the Adige river from its springs to its mouth, using the photographies to draw attention to the multiple stories, emotions, places and people that the river encounters in its 414 km of length.
